Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Invoicing & Billing Management
Prepare and issue accurate and timely client invoices and individualised budget statements.
Maintain complete and organised billing records and ensure invoicing complies with AVWA policies and relevant NDIS requirements.
2. NDIS Claims Processing
Manage the end-to-end NDIS claims process, including submission, follow-up and resolution of discrepancies.
Liaise with relevant internal teams to ensure claims are accurate, timely and compliant with current NDIS requirements.
3. Accounts Receivable & Collections
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records and perform regular AR reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding balances, follow up overdue payments and work with clients and internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
Prepare AR ageing reports and provide relevant information to support financial management.
4. Bank Reconciliation & Financial Reporting
Perform regular bank and Internet Banking (IB) reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and provide analysis of AR performance and trends.
5. Collaboration, Compliance & Documentation
Work collaboratively with the Finance team and other departments to support efficient financial operations.
Respond to client enquiries regarding invoices, payments and account balances in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure AR processes comply with AVWA policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field (minimum 4-year qualification).
Experience & Knowledge
Previous experience in a financial administration or accounts receivable role.
Experience using accounting systems and software such as MYOB, QuickBooks or Xero.
Strong knowledge of management and financial accounting principles.
Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
